Running a public consultation and building local support
The Project
For five years, Datack has worked in the Étang de Berre area on public consultation and community engagement around ecological and energy transition projects. In 2025, working closely with the CNDP (France’s National Commission for Public Debate), we ran an unprecedented area-wide public debate, the first application of France’s Green Industry Act, covering dozens of decarbonisation projects, on behalf of two project developers: the Port of Marseille Fos (GPMM) and GEOSEL.
